I started crocheting baby booties for my own baby. I'm expecting in April 2015 and decided to give it a try. Although I've seen many baby booties in the market, I noticed a common trend: nearly all baby booties are somewhat animal-themed and have similar colors. I wanted something different. I wanted choices. Vibrant colors and varied designs. We see these in children and adult clothing, but why are there limited options for baby booties?
I've also noticed how pricing is rather high for crocheted baby booties. It would be great to have affordable baby booties so every moms and babies can also enjoy having nice booties to keep baby feet warm and comfy!
After taking into account costs, including labor, I've decided that I was able to offer crocheted baby booties at reasonable prices.
For now, my shop is focused on booties. However, someday I hope to expand to crocheted baby sandals, baby slippers, etc.
